Why do we need BRCGS Agents and Brokers?

Managing Safety, Quality, Authenticity and Legality is challenging when working in a non-manufacturing business providing food/food packaging industries. BRCGS Agents and Brokers are for organisations that sell and facilitate the trade of products or provide a link in the sourcing/movement of products.

Agents and Brokers are recognised. However, to supply tier 1 organisations and meet tenders to the public sector, you will find you need and certifiable management system. The Standard sets out the requirements to recognise the systems you operate to manage safety in your supply chain.

Your Consultant advises you on the requirements. They produce your management system per the Standard. Your team are responsible for implementing the requirements and following the advice.
